(USAIM)
For us USAIM signifies medicine and medicine denotes “Knowledge, Dedication and Excellence.” This is our motto. We dream of making these three words meaningful through our students and lecturers in USAIM. The choice of these three words is not accidental: for us it represents the history of medicine and personal vocation.
The history is obviously a life long search of many generations of dedicated and excellent doctors for knowledge. The history of medicine is older than our written memories.
It is an uncompromising quest for knowledge from Aesculap, through Vesalius, Paracelsus, Leonardo and Harvey, Albert Schweitzer, Semmelweis, Jenner, and Pasteur to understand the human anatomy, physiology and behavior. This historic arc is like a bridge from the past to the future through such unthinkable pillars like the Human Genome Project, cure for Cancer, fight against Aids, conquering infectious diseases and many others. It will be incessantly built by ourselves and very soon by our students.
Our curriculum is designed to armor gifted students with intellectual and technical expertise necessary for successful practice in medicine. It is a succession of integrated academic experiences that facilitate the growth towards particular professional goals. The curriculum is a guarantee, to develop the ability into the skill of the professional. We support our students to understand how the better life of the society can influence the peoples’ well-being and what is the real meaning and value of biological, social and mental wellness for the humanity.
Our international clinical rotation system is a guarantee that doctors graduating from USAIM will have a distinct advantage in their very competitive career development course.
