Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Undergraduate medical education consists of two parts, pre-clinical and clinical studies. Admission criteria for the program are strictly outlined (see below).
Pre-Clinical Program
For entry into the Pre-Clinical program the minimum requirements are:
- United States and Canadian Educational Systems: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree with completed pre-medical program (Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English) or completed 2 years of pre-medical studies.
- United Kingdom Educational Systems: three "A level" in sciences.
- East-Africa and Kenya: Completed KCSE in Sciences
- Students from Indian Subcontinent: 10 plus 2 grade with sciences as main subjects. If the applicant is planning to practice in India after graduation, Eligibility Certificate from the Medical Council of India should be applied for.
- Diploma in Medicine, Physiotherapy, and other related degree in medical specialities (at least 2 years completed) will allow you to join the Pre-Clinical program.
