Requirements for USAIM MD Degree

Once admitted in the Undergraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree program, the student has to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for getting the degree. The USAIM student must: Pass all 22 subjects of PC 1 to PC 6 semesters; Pass all 7 core clincal rotations. Note: The USAIM student cannot proceed for the electives before passing the core clinical rotations. Pass all 20 weeks of electives; Pass Exit Exam One; Pass Exit Exam Two; Submit 3 copies of the dissertation to the Seychelles Main Campus. Note: Each copy of the dissertation must be certified by the supervisor and countersigned by the clinical coordinator of the hospital; ensure that all clinical logbooks and clinical evaluation forms are submitted to the USAIM USA Office; be in good financial standing. USAIM students planning to take USMLE Part One must first pass Exit Exam One. *Exit Exam One can be taken after passing PC 6. USAIM students planning to take USMLE Part Two (CK) must first pass Exit Exam Two. *Exit Exam Two can be taken after passing all 7 core clinical rotations. USAIM students planning to take USMLE Part Two (CS) must first pass all 7 core clinical rotations
