Immigration Information
Immigration Information USAIM arranges for resident student VISA for
the students in Seychelles. The following documents are required to be
submitted by the students to the University Undergraduate Dean’s office
to obtain the VISA:
- Photocopy of all the relevant pages of the Passport,
- Medical report from a certified clinical laboratory, two copies
of original reports with details of blood test reports for:
- HIV
- Hepatitis B and C
- RPR
- Hb
- WBC
- Routine Urine and Stool tests
- Chest X-Ray report including the X-ray film
- ECG report for persons over 35 years of age
- photocopy of Yellow Fever Vaccination Card (for sudents
coming from Africa only)
The application form for resident student visa in Seychelles shall be
sent to the Immigration Office by the Dean’s Office before the arrival
of the student into Seychelles. The student VISA processing fee is USD
$300 (to be paid to the Government of Seychelles). The student is
required to have a two-way air ticket when arriving in Seychelles. The
student is also required to produce the Student Admission letter at the
airport for the Immigration Authorities. Once they have seen the letter
they will provide the student with a one month visitor’s VISA. The
student will receive his/her 5-year student VISA from the administration
at USAIM once all the required documents have been submitted and
processed.
Upon the arrival into Seychelles, a member of the University staff
will receive the student at the Mahe International Airport .
